Tyn-yr-Onnen Camp site is set on a traditional Welsh
Hill Farm that has been farmed by the same family for over 300 years.
Ty'n yr Onnen offers breath-taking
scenery of Moel Eilio and Mynydd Mawr (Elephant Mountain 2,382ft.)
and a wealth of natural wild life that can be explored. There is
a path over the hills to the Village of Llanberis, or for the more
adventurous a walk to the summit of Snowdon.
Spacious site (2½ hec), sheltered
pitches, 10 amp hook-up-points. Ground for sports; ball games, barbeques.
Games room with pool table etc. Family lounge with colour TV and
table tennis.
Two seperate toilet blocks with
free showers.
Launderette, washing-up room, free
use of a freezer for your ice packs. We sell Calor and Camping Gas.

Children's play area, with swings,
whirley-wheel, climbing frame, slide, see-saw, and a sand pit. Animal
park with friendly animals to feed; donkeys, pet lambs, lamas, peacocks,
ducks and chickens. Old tractor and vintage farm machinery.
Waunfawr has a village shop, a Pub
serving good food, and a very good fish and chip shop.
We welcome dogs provided they are
kept under control and on a lead.
Nearby Attractions Include:
Waunfawr Station for the Welsh Highland Steam Railway which
links Porthmadog and Caernarfon. Llanberis, with its narrow
gauge railway to the summit of Snowdon and many other attractions
and activities. A pony trekking centre is some 10 minutes from the
farm. Arfon Leisure Centre welcomes our visitors to their swimming
pool, solarium and all-weather tennis courts in Caernarfon. There
are also many Castles and wonderful beaches both
on the mainland and the Isle of Anglesey.
