Set on a traditional Welsh hill farm that has been farmed by the same family for over 300 years.
Ty'n yr Onnen's extensive area offers seclusion, being 'off the beaten track' and enjoying peace and tranquility unequalled in Wales, coupled with all the modern facilities the modern day camper demands.

Ty'n yr Onnen offers freedom. Unlimited walks over 400 acres of heath and heather land with a wealth of natural wild life and breath-taking scenery on Moel Eilio (the mountain used as inspiration for the background to this website - 2,382ft.) which is part of the farm's sheep walk and for the enthusiastic walker a path to the summit of Snowdon can be followed from the site.

Spacious site (2½ hec), level pitches which are well sheltered, 10 amp hook-up-points. Ground for sports; ball games, barbeques and camp fires. Games arcade with pool table, video machines, darts etc. Family lounge with colour TV and table tennis. Antique kiosk with payphone.

Two luxury toilet blocks (slot free showers), mother & baby bathroom, electric razor points, hairdrying, disabled person's facilities, launderette, washing-up room, ample hot water.

The site is personally supervised and the cleanliness of all facilities is guaranteed.

Our small shop provides essentials to keep you going until you visit one of the numerous supermarkets in Caernarfon (4 miles). Fresh dairy produce is delivered daily plus our own farm eggs; we also have cold drinks, ices and frozen foods; newspapers, route maps, books and souvenirs; Calor and Camping Gas and free use of a freezer for your ice packs.

Children's play area with swings, whirley-wheel, climbing frame, slide, see-saw, baseball and a sand pit. Animal park with friendly animals to feed; donkeys, pet lambs, rabbits, peacocks, ducks and chickens. Old tractor and vintage farm machinery.

We welcome dogs provided they are kept under control and on a lead.

Post office/food store liscenced hotel and restaurant, fish & chip shop, and a pony trecking center are all within 5 minutes of the park. Arfon Leisure Center welcomes our visitors to their swimming pool, solarium and all-weather tennis courts, which is just 15 minutes drive away. Fresh water fishing is available on the river Gwyrfai which borders the farm.
